Omar Benitez

Omar

has

over

thirty

years

experience

as

a

tennis

teaching

professional

starting

in

Argentina.

Prior

to

becoming

a

full

time

teaching

pro

he

played

tennis

in

South

America

and

Europe.

He also holds a Computer Science degree and

was

a

computer

science

teacher.

He

attended

the

Argentinean

School

of

Tennis

Professionals

early

in

his

career

and

became

a

certified

tennis

coach.

When

Omar

came

to

the

United

States

he

located

the

Bollettieri

Tennis

Academy

in

Bradenton

Florida

and

secured

a

position

as

a

teaching

pro

for

junior

and

adult

programs.

He

later

became

an

assistant

coach

for

the

Bollettieri

junior

traveling

team

and

summer

camps

for

the

Nick

Bollettieri

Tennis

Academy

in

Wisconsin.

When

he

left

NBTA

he

headed

here

to

Philly

and

the

Merion

Cricket

Club

where

he

worked

for

a

short

time

for

Pascal

Collard

head

tennis

pro

at

the

club.

Omar

specializes

in

junior

players

tournament

development

pointing

out

stroke

production,

awareness

of

game

psychology

and

performance.

His

experience

and

coaching

has

produced

many

tournament

winners

junior

players

from

state

level

championships

to

nationals,

both

in

the

United

States

and

in

his native country of Argentina.

Certifications:
